Rob Kennedy – CEO of Synergy Group
Story
Doing my Bit
As a RAP Champion for Synergy and an advocate for the Voice to parliament this provides me with an opportunity to “do my bit” in ensuring that the discussion on improving Indigenous rights and welfare doesn’t stop at the failed referendum.
To also personally be able to support an organisation like the IMF who can have a greater impact on Reconciliation and Indigenous health and welfare than I could do myself.
Understanding
Use the year to educate myself and experience what the Indigenous issues are and how big the problem and challenging the solutions are.
Family 2.0
Having a your family, 2.0, and not getting any younger myself I need to improve my health and fitness to ensure I can be as present and active in their lives as possible.
Synergy RAP
Having launched our Synergy RAP last year there is a risk that is could gather dust on the shelf. By co-opting Synergy personnel to support this initiative and prompting it internally as something that Synergy is doing – helping raise funds, helping organise the program and events, helping me train – our RAP will stay alive.
Future of IMF
Use my skills to assist the IMF obtain an independent ongoing income stream to support its current and future programs
